Some subjects are inherently uncomfortable (sex for example). Naturally so, we seek out ways to make those subjects more comfortable. We do this hoping to detach ourselves from the weight of our decisions, as oppose to accepting that discomfort as way informing of us of danger. For years we swallow these feelings, repetitively doing what we please, seemingly free of consequence, while teaching others to do the same. Then one day the truth is revealed, and it’s a truth our spirit warned us about from the beginning; a truth of consequence and discomfort.
My point is this:
One should not try to make others embrace their decisions, nor lifestyle. Simply let right be right, and wrong be wrong.
“You will know them by their fruits...” Matthew 7:16
“The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5: 22-23
What have your beliefs produced in you? Notice that wealth, prosperity, friendship, and acceptance, are not benefits of the spirit.
