The Societies of the world today rely heavily on the senses. Sight of which is likely the most influential. We’ve even developed monetary systems that revolve around views. Acquiring said views is commonly achieved through provoking various states of arousal, and because of this our societies have become bipolar. Many people have seen more than their own personal experiences can quantify and it’s been wreaking havoc in their minds.
Reality has become so broad for some that they’ve lost track of their own identity. Many of us now chase dreams that are nothing more than fantasy. We look into our digital windows witnessing extravagance beyond our reach and are enamored. Either that or we see horrors which baffle us and amplify are anxieties. Imagination then takes hold and we’re left believing that everything will be better if only we can have that, or be there. Like addicts we perpetually chase the next high and are numbed by the last
