The Roses

Eternity is not a weapon the enemy is capable of wielding; for it belongs to the lord, and the lord alone. So, if waiting is all I can do, I will wait. If all I can do is be still, I will be still. I cannot reach tomorrow before it’s time, I will only ever be capable of touching today. I might as well smell the roses.
